Holloways Beach Coastcare is a not-for-profit, community based, volunteer landcare group that has been helping to look after the local environment for more than 20 years, through rehabilitation and maintenance of coastal ecosystems.

The group formed as a response to mounting pressures on the local environment from development and agriculture.

We hold regular planting and maintenance events as a way for the community to take practical action to improve biodiversity, sequester carbon, reduce erosion, and improve water quality in runoff to the Great Barrier Reef. It’s also to connect likeminded people in the community, and to build capacity around land rehabilitation - and most  importantly to have fun!
