Beers and Tree Planting

It's our final 'Beers & Trees' planting session for the season. 

Meet at the first bend on Holloways Beach Road (where the big Tamarind Trees are) at 2:30pm for a ride into the Thomatis Creek revegetation site.  We'll will plant some trees, enjoy a free sundowner (thanks to Coral Sea brewery) and have a good old time. 

The site is on private property, and is 4WD access only, so please be on time so we can head in together. Wear sensible clothing for sweaty work, and to keep the sun and mozzies at bay. Enclosed shoes and waterbottle are a must. 

This planting is funded by the Cairns Regional Council. 

We recognise the Yirrganydji people as the traditional custodians of the area we're planting in, and acknowledge their deep and continued connections to their land and sea country.
